About Us
The
Environmental Institute of Georgia (EIOG) evolved from the concept of
preserving and restoring natural areas in Georgia, and using the
resulting ideas as models for providing education about the environment
throughout the state.
EIOG is an independent voice for sustainable development and the
application of precautionary principles in protecting the environment
and human health.
We advocate for healthy and sustainable environments, and advance
education through applied research, leadership development, community
engagement, and legislative and decision-making process at all levels.
